About Me

My journey into photography began in the winter of 2019, just before Covid hit. One night, I pulled out a family telescope, aimed it at the moon, and pressed my phone against the eyepiece. The photos were terrible—but I was instantly hooked. As the lifelong "space kid," I'd always assumed images of galaxies and nebulae were reserved for giant observatories and telescopes like Hubble. I had no idea that amateurs here on Earth could capture such beauty. When the world shut down in March 2020, I suddenly had the perfect chance to spend night after night learning and practicing astrophotography. By that summer, I was photographing the Milky Way with my brother’s Nikon DSLR, and a year later, I had expanded into landscapes as well.

When I'm not editing my huge backlog of photos, you can find me at the local bouldering gym, hiking, fishing, in a cave, or exploring the beautiful Ozarks and Buffalo River Country (sense a theme?). I also love hanging with my friends, whether we're playing video games or having a movie night!
