Our Bright Night
As we expand into the far reaches of our planet, we bring artificial light. The number of dark and unpolluted skies is dwindling; over 80% of people in the world look up at night and see light-polluted skies. Artificial night-time lights does not only impact our night skies: It negatively affects the environment and ecosystems, our health, and almost every aspect of our world.
I am a Computer Science student at the University of Central Arkansas.
I got into astrophotography in 2019 when I wanted to take a picture of the moon using my phone!
